If traditional diner food is what you seek, search no longer. Growing up in New England, diner food is a staple and since moving to Texas over 20 years ago, I've missed that greasy spoon delight. Don't get me wrong, a lot of small towns have some great places throughout the state and this place ranks tops with the best of them. Service was top notch too....and you HAVE to get a milkshake...in fact, I demand you get a milkshake!!! Love, Carni-folks

From the breakfast plates being served around us it looks like a great place for breakfast but we were there for lunch. Had a Rueben and Italian Pasta on the side. Very good. And there is table service outside which makes it so ice.

I have been wanting to go for years, and finally made it, totally lived up to the hype. The folks working there were fantastic, the food and drinks were great, but I enjoyed the stepping back in time the most. It's a one of one. Highly recommend

The ham and egg omelet is incredibly good!!! Very cool diner experience and all staff are top tier friendly and professional. 5 star recommendation all the way.

I've eaten lunch there once while visiting Galveston and will definitely return. The Curry Tuna Salad was delicious, and I like that I can, also, enjoy Louisiana Chicory Coffee at Star Drug Store. Its "blast from the past" soda fountain gives a vintage atmosphere that is very charming.

Oh my gosh! I'm from Canada and on my last day in Galveston, I decided to go here because it piqued my interest. And I was not disappointed! Friendly and Fast Service, Good Portions, Fair Prices, and the food itself was the best part. I had the 3 Eggs plate with sausage, and everything on that plate tasted so fresh and so good. I was also amazed at the pancakes and how good they tasted too. Stop reading, order now!

I had been wanting to try this place for about 2 years now. It was so worth the wait! I was blown away at how good the food was, and how friendly the staff were. The owner was super nice and talked with us for a while, and I loved hearing the history of the place. The patty melt I ate was super unique and the eggs my parents had very super fluffy and had great flavor to them. I would always keep returning to this spot and I highly recommend getting breakfast or lunch at this place!

The best lunch spot in Galveston! I’ve been coming here for years and love the old school soda fountain vibe. The service is always great and the food is phenomenal. Also, best Caesar salad around. Try a chocolate Dr. Pepper and enjoy the 1950’s vibe!
